Harry Potter Fans

These photos were taken halloween 2001; MaRey was Hermione, MeyMey was Harry Potter and ReyMey was Mr Tomato of Veggie Tales. I made those costumes from scratch patterned from downloaded movie pictures. Truly most unique costumes , the pair won Best Costume award in our subdivision. We have long been a fan of Harry, Hermione & Ron. Hubby even made them their own Nimbus 2000. Geez time flies by so fast.
Yippee the book is here and I've finished reading it just this morning 6am having started last night. I haven't slept a wink yet. Glad that I snoozed in the afternoon while it was hubbys turn to read first. The daughters wanted to have a go at it while I slept but I never did. I couldn't put the book down. We are all harry potter fans from the very beginning, the girls were the correct age when it first came out. Eagerly awaiting the days when the next book would be released, reserving the book earlier and buying it hardbound instead of just waiting for the much cheaper paperback versions. In Book 5&6 we let the daughter's have a go at it first to read but this time I put my foot down and said I wanted to read ASAP so I had to do my bit to read as fast as I can so the daughters can read today Sunday before they come back to school on Monday and risk classmates and friends do a spoiler.
ReyMey, he never read the books but have seen all the movies hundreds of times even played flying broomsticks and wands he likes to do 'wingardiam leviosa' and 'avada kadavra' with the sisters so he understands if this weekend is truly going to be the Harry Potter and the Deathly Silent Weekend he asked me to buy him another volume of Geronimo Stilton so he could laze in bed and read too.
This weekend we stay all stay home to read. Hubby had the chance to talk to me about the book over breakfast as he had been wanting to talk about it after reading.
I love Lily Potter's best friend! I knew it---I had faith in him. Now I gotta go dig out his figurine which the kids slammed in the back cabinet in disgrace.
Brilliant. Truly amazing events have transpired, I can't wait for the movie... wow.

It's hard to believe [accept] that it's the last one! [is that denial again!] Great photos.
Cheers

True, shame that it's the last one. The book exceeded expectations, I know it did mine.
It was a great ride. And now we can re-read all 7 books all at the same time. Hoot-Hoot!
